Sunderbans is a part of the world`s largest delta of mangrove forest formed by the rivers Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna and recognized as one of the most unique eco-systems of the world. The place derives its name from the Sundari Mangrove trees growing in this region. An UNESCO World Heritage Site Sunderban’s Mangrove forest covers an area of 4264 sq. km with 55 tiny islands.

Cruise through the creeks and canals of the National Park. This is one park where you have to move around in boats. The country boat rides through the narrow creeks are sure to put a chill through your spine. Visit to the village on the island on which your resort is located will bring to you the lives of the people living inside the National Park and etching out their living under most unfriendly circumstances.
