East by North East

If magic still belongs to earth, that is in north east of India, indeed! A land you cannot fathom on your smart phone, because that is too small to capture the splendor. A life you cannot pace with your wristwatch, because time actually stops here. India`s North East - the name is synonymous with the contiguous seven sister states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland & Tripura. These states cover an area of 255,511 square kilometres (98,653 sq mi) or about seven percent of India`s total geographical area. "Siliguri" in West Bengal, acts as the corridor & connects rest of Eastern India with India`s North East. The region shares more than 4,500 kilometres (2,800 mi) of International border with China (Southern Tibet) in the north, Myanmar in the east, Bangladesh in the south-west & Bhutan to the north-west. The north eastern part of India, is interspersed with valleys & hilly terrain & offering such imposing & stunning views that are breathtaking & beyond words. Thus, a few lines would not be enough to justify a region as vast & explorable.
